Mend With Friends – Repair to Rewear

Chicago Fair Trade’s Conscious Closet Club invites you to a beginner-friendly DIY mending masterclass! Learn how to extend the useful life of your clothing while enjoying fair trade snacks and our autumnal cocktail we’re calling “the Re-Pear!”

How does it work? Just book your ticket and show up! Needles and thread, plus other mending materials, will be provided. You are welcome to bring along any items of clothing you want to learn how to mend. If you don’t have anything that needs fixing now, we’ll have some fabric scraps and old clothing you can practice on.
