Join us on the first Monday of every month from 6:30-7:30 PM for our regular Conscious Closet Club meet-up on Zoom for a friendly, lively discussion of all things ethical fashion.

Our November 3 meeting, we invite you to our final virtual Conscious Closet Club of the year! Before we wrap up 2025 with an in-person gathering in December at Chicago Fair Trade’s Holiday Pop-Up Shop, let’s come together online one last time. This month, we’ll reflect on what we’ve learned, share highlights from the year, and dream up what’s next, including how we can keep building a more conscious fashion community right here in Chicago. We’d love to see you there and hear your ideas!

About Chicago Conscious Closet Club

An initiative of Chicago Fair Trade, the Chicago Conscious Closet Club is a community of Chicagoans with an interest in ethical clothing and fashion who learn from each other, share ideas, and have fun. We took our name from Elizabeth L. Cline’s 2019 book, The Conscious Closet: The Revolutionary Guide to Looking Good While Doing Good. While Elizabeth’s book has been an inspiration for events and social media content, we also go beyond the topics covered in the book, diving into anything and everything related to ethical fashion.

We host monthly meetings on the first Monday evening of each month. At these meetings, you can expect to connect with other folks who want to curate a more ethically-minded closet, learn something about the current state of the fashion industry, and find out what you can do to be more mindful in how you interact with it.
