Valentine’s Chocolate Making Workshop

This Valentine’s Day weekend, do something that’s sweet on so many levels: learn to make your very own, ethically sourced craft chocolate from scratch!

Back by popular demand for one day only, Jonathan and Anielka of Lacuna Cacao will guide you through the complex and fascinating world of bean-to-bar craft chocolate-making. Places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment!

In this two-hour workshop, you’ll:

  • Learn what life is like for cocoa farmers in Nicaragua
  • Understand the step-by-step process of transforming beans into bars
  • Gain tips on how to be a conscious chocolate consumer
  • Make your very own chocolate bars!

Members of Chicago Fair Trade are eligible for a discount which will be emailed to members on request (learn more about membership). We can’t wait to see you there!

Getting there: The market is located in Roosevelt Collection shops in the space to the left of Ulta. Parking is free for 2 hours or $9 all day. The nearest Metra station is Roosevelt which is an 8-minute walk.

The event is finished.
