Teen Exhibit Launch Party at the Chicago Fair Trade Museum

Join the teens of our After School Matters Museum Makers program to celebrate the launch of their brand new, teen-created exhibits!

From June to August 2023, the Chicago Fair Trade Museum hosted a group of teens from across Chicago at our Museum Makers summer program in collaboration with After School Matters. Over six weeks, teens not only learned all about fair trade and conscious consumerism, but worked to create new, interactive exhibits for the museum, including an indoor farm, an interactive loom weaving exhibit, and their very own mini-exhibits tackling issues related to fair trade.

Join us from 4pm to 6:30pm for a museum late to celebrate the launch of these new exhibits with the teens! Snacks and drinks will be provided.
