Visit Mata Traders HQ during Chicago Fashion Week® for a cocktail reception and behind-the-scenes tour of Chicago’s largest fair trade fashion business with Chicago Fair Trade’s Conscious Closet Club!

Owner Taylor McCleneghan will give a tour of the premises, explain Mata’s manufacturing and design process, and share how Mata Traders sources ethically from artisan partners in India and Nepal.

We’ll also be joined by Chicago Fair Trade’s Conscious Closet Club, who will share more information about what you can do to be an ally to garment workers worldwide.

You’ll also have the chance to browse Mata’s store and shop for gorgeous, fair trade fashion as you sip on cocktails made with delicious, ethically-made rum from Chicago Cane Cooperative!
