PLEASE NOTE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED.
Fair Trade Coffee service and snacks from 11:00-11:30!
Chicago Fair Trade Board member Professor Jocelyn Leitzinger will facilitate this interactive event featuring En-ROADS Climate Solutions Simulator. Developed by MIT’s Sloan Sustainability Initiative and Climate Interactive, the #EnROADS climate solutions simulator helps you:
✅ Figure out what climate policy solutions will actually work in real-time
✅ Lead scientifically-grounded, meaningful conversations
✅ Engage people and spark change!
In addition to complimentary fair trade coffee and snacks before the event, we’ve made reservations at women-owned Eris Brewery and Cider and will walk over there afterwards.
This free event is for Chicago Fair Trade members and their guests. Are you a member? RSVP here. Interested in membership? Visit the Membership page to join.
A big thanks to Chicago Fair Trade member St. John’s Episcopal Church for hosting.
A note from the host: St. John’s is a small Episcopal community in the Irving Park neighborhood on the northwest side of Chicago. We welcome and value all people. Whatever your cultural or ethnic background, political or religious affiliation, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, or lived experience…you’ll find you are welcome here. Through our social justice and antiracism initiatives, St. John’s works to see how the systems we have created and operate within can be oppressive and be unjust. We work to make changes to these systems and create new and better systems. We are excited to host the climate change simulation and explore solutions to climate change with Chicago Fair Trade.
