We hope you’ll join us to meet up with old friends and make new connections!\n\n\n\nEvery year at Globalfest, we present our Changemaker Award to an organization or person who is advancing fair trade in and around Chicago. We are thrilled to announce that last year’s Changemaker recipient Nasreen Sheikh will present this year’s award. 2022’s very worthy winner: Whitney Young High School! \n\n\n\nSince starting up a brand-new Fair Trade Club in 2018, and becoming Chicago’s very first Fair Trade designated school a year later, Whitney Young has continued to do amazing work to educate and inspire the next generation of fair trade leaders. \n\n\n\nWe can’t wait to honor Whitney Young at this year’s Globalfest!
